FAQs

Q. What should I wear on the day?
Sensible clothing and footwear suitable for the countryside, depending on the weather.

Q. Do I need to bring my own equipment?
No, we provide excellent quality, well-maintained guns and cartridges. We provide all the safety gear you will require, such as safety glasses and ear protection.

Q. Does it matter if I have never been shooting before?
We welcome beginners as well as those who have shot before. Before you start we ensure that the gun is properly fitted to your frame to avoid bruising. We have lightweight low-recoil guns available.

Q. What age do we cater for?
For practical purposes, you need to be strong enough to hold and operate the gun so we advise 13 years and above.

Q. Do I need a license to shoot?
No, we hold a current Police exemption certificate. However, you will need to sign a declaration to say that you are not prohibited from handling a firearm and so comply with Section 21 of the Firearms Act, ie have not served a custodial sentence of more than 3 months. Please contact us should you need clarification.

We insist that you are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
